PULSE personal training has evolved due to an overwhelming need to be able to extend our patients requirements for exercise therapy, rehabilitation and sports specific training after they have finished with their therapist.

Patients are always looking to maintain, improve and re-evaluate their goals, and so we have introduced this aspect of the service which has proved to be very beneficial and popular with existing and new patients / clients alike.

Our Personal Training (PT) service is not just for when you are injured or recovering but covers a range of elements that constitute trying to promote and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

  • There are no delays in waiting for equipment.
  • Training with your own Personal trainer who knows you and your individual needs and not just “showing you” how to use the equipment and then being left to your own devices.
  • The facilities are private thus promotes feeling more confident in undertaking exercises for the first time, or for weight loss / post Pregnancy etc.
  • We don’t over price our training sessions because we have huge premises and overheads to maintain – We believe that our prices reflect a service that is accessible to all and that has stemmed from the PULSE ethos of providing a quality service at a competitive price which whilst not undervaluing our trainers – This does does not scare people away from trying something that can be an excellent way to regain fitness and a healthier lifestyle.

Why use a Pulse trainer?

Our Personal Training caters for people of all fitness levels. You may already be a seasoned exerciser looking to increase and improve your performance levels, you might be ready to start your rehabilitation from a sporting injury or alternatively you could be new to exercise and fitness and wish to improve your physical condition. At Pulse we are here to give motivation, support and encouragement in helping you achieve your personal goals.

Our Fitness Consultants are all fully qualified, insured and experienced… and most importantly LOVE what they do!

How can we help?

Do you feel tired, stressed, unfit or overweight? Perhaps you want to do something about it but just don’t have the motivation or confidence to do it on your own. Or maybe you feel a little uncomfortable or self conscious about visiting your busy local gym?
Pulse can help our clients improve their health and fitness in an effective and professional environment. We offer one-to-one fitness or group exercise instruction in our own private gym in safe, comfortable surroundings with emphasis on enjoyment.

Getting Started

We provide a Pulse Personal Training Questionnaire and Par Q form on our website which you can download easily and email back to us prior to your first session or alternatively bring along with you on the day.
You need not be familiar with exercise, equipment or technique. Your trainer will help you with this.

Designed for you

Before your first training session all new clients receive a free consultation* and functional fitness assessment.* We will then design a programme to suit your needs and current level of fitness.

Ongoing support

We will continue to support you even after your training session is complete. We provide detailed plans and spreadsheets giving you all the information you will need to complete and sustain your programme.

Our Services
  • Free consultation and health screening before your first training session.*

  • ‘Bang for your Buck (BFYB)’ sessions (30 mins) also available.

  • Group training, corporate fitness and pre-season individual and team training also available on request.
