  • How do I pay?

    There are a variety of payment options. You can pay via our secure online payment options on the website, by posting us a cheque to the address below or by online bank transfer (details available on request).

  • What are the entry requirements?

    There are no entry requirements for you to take the Level 2 gym instructor course or combined Level 2 and Level 3 package. However, in order to enrol on our Level 3 personal trainer course you must already have a Level 2 fitness instructor certification.

  • How much are deposits and monthly payments?

    All deposits are a minimum 20% of the total course, and all our monthly payments are interest free! You can decide how many monthly payments you wish to pay over up to a maximum of 12 for Diploma Course and 8 for Certificate Courses. Please note all payments must be made be before certificates are issued.

  • What’s the difference between the Tutor Support on the Silver and Gold Courses?

    Silver tutor support is available at set times with your tutor, these may be individual or in a group with other students. Tutor support on the Gold courses is all one to one time with your tutor, times with your tutor are arranged at your convenience, support and one to one time is unlimited as its email and telephone support

  • Do I get any support with the Pulse Bronze courses?

    Yes you have email access with a tutor and one hour slots to prepare and practice for your practical assessments.

  • When do I sit my exams?

    Exams on Pulse Bronze and Silver courses are on set days and times arranged with your tutor, however our tutors try to offer as much flexibility as they can. Exams on our Pulse Gold Courses can be arranged on dates and times that suit you.

  • What is the E Learning platform?

    The E Learning platform is only available on Pulse Silver and Pulse Gold Courses. The Electronic Platform is packed full of excellent videos and tuition to support your learning, the platform is one of the main differences between Pulse Bronze and Pulse Silver and Gold courses.

  • How long will it take me to complete my course?

    The Million Dollar question! Our courses are flexible, if you are studying on the courses full time then you can complete Level 2 AND Level 3 in six weeks. However, many of our students are either in part time or full time employment and of course other aspects such as family life need to be considered. You can set deadlines with your tutor to keep yourself on track so realistically to complete both Level 2 and Level 3 and if you are currently working 3 – 12 months is the usual time frame.

  • What happens if I fail?

    You can re-sit either your theory or practical exam for free! However, if you need a second re-sit of the same exam there is a £25 charge.

  • Can I defer study if life / work gets in the way?

    Many students work at their own pace so there is no real need to defer, just liaise with your tutor if you are having problems. However, the Awarding Body usually allow 24 months from date of registration to complete your course.

  • Why train with Pulse ahead of other companies?

  • How do I study?

    Level 2 and Level 3 are achieved through Blended Learning. Blended learning is a mixture of self-study, on line studying and one to one time with a tutor. Please email us below with any questions on how you study so we can explain the difference between the Bronze, Silver and Gold packages in detail.
