London South Bank University ClinicWhy Pulse Sports Therapy?

Our mission statement is to return the sportsperson to his/her chosen sport in the safest and shortest possible time. We have been established since 1995 with a background in professional football, and have successfully returned many elite, international, amateur and recreational athletes to their sport of choice, following injury. We regularly treat injuries of the ankle, foot, knee, back, neck, hip, shoulder, elbow, and are qualified and experienced in dealing with injuries to these areas of the body. Who Can Attend?

Anyone with a sports related injury can come along for a course of Physiotherapy treatment and or rehabilitation, which will aid in your recovery if you have:
Crutches

  • Sustained a recent injury
  • Joint, ligament or soft tissue injury. e.g. sprains and pulls
  • A long term injury that will just not go away
  • Pre and post operative care requirements
  • Specific rehabilitation needs
  • Sports-specific or team requirements
  • Prehabilitaion and prevention programme requirements
  • Sustained a non-sporting injury such as Sciatica, Whiplash or RSI

    Based in South Bank University Sports CentreWe offer extremely competitive rates of treatment, especially given that we are based in Central London, and our prices are likely to be a lot less than you might think.     By Public Transport

    The clinic is a short walk from numerous main line and Underground train stations. Buses also stop just outside. You can plan your public transport journey directly using the TFL journey planner.

    TherabandTrain: Elephant & Castle Train Station – Approx 5 minute walk. Patients of ours also walk from Waterloo Station, which is a slightly longer walk.

    Underground: Elephant & Castle Station (Zone 1 and Zone 2 – Bakerloo and Northern Lines). 1 minute walk from the Bakerloo line exit.

    Bus: Buses 1,2,2a,12,45,53,63,68,68a,133,171,176,188,199,344,355 all stop either just outside or very nearby.

    Please use the ‘Directions’ option on Google Maps at the top of this page to find the best routes. We must warn you that there is Congestion Charging close to the area. There are Pay & Display parking spaces very close by. However, being based in central London, there is limited availability at peak times and parking is not available within the University itself.


    Further Information

    The clinic is situated in the South Bank University Sports Centre. It comprises of a fully functional fitness suite, free-weight area, and sports hall, giving broad options for late-stage rehabilitation activities and fitness testing.

    Being situated in a University, there is high security on entering the building. Please allow plenty of time to enter the building and telephone your Pulse Physiotherapist if you have any difficulty getting past the barriers.
